The Material Selection Window

Overview

This window is used to select one or more materials to include in an action. There are several different methods you can use to select materials.

All

This option includes all materials on the figure.

Mapping Group

This option will let you choose a mapping group from a pull-down menu. All materials in the mapping group you select will be included.

Surface Group

This option will let you choose a surface group from a pull-down menu. All materials in the surface group you select will be included.

Specific Materials

This option allows you to checkmark any materials on the figure that you want to include in the action. Materials that are unchecked will not be included.

Matching Materials

This option allows you to type a series of key words. If a material's name matches any of those key words, it will be included. For example, typing "skin lip nos" will include "SkinHead", "SkinArm", "Lips" and "Nostrils", among others.

Current Material

This option includes only the currently selected material in the action.
